Educational Qualification
For Level-2 Posts
- 12th Pass (10+2) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board.
- OR 10th Pass with ITI / Act Apprenticeship approved by NCVT / SCVT.
- 50% marks criteria not applicable for SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD and candidates possessing higher qualifications.
For Level-1 Posts
- 10th Pass from a recognized board.
- OR ITI Certificate.
- OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
Scouts & Guides Eligibility Criteria
This is the most important requirement for this recruitment.
- Must be President Scout, Guide, Rover, Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge Holder.
- Must have active membership in a Scouts & Guides organization for at least 5 years.
- Participation in at least two National/All India Railway events.
- Participation in at least two State Level events.
- Valid scouting certificates must be produced during verification.
